Carbonless Media not meeting PFE (paper feeding error) rate specification

ADF jams with carbonless paper originals is causing the printer to not meet the Stress Media PFE Rate.

Possible errors:

• 280.13
• 284.13
• 281.16
• 281.13

1. Change the feed orientation of the media; i.e., short edge first and long edge first.



2. Turn ADF media over and feed it through again.



3. Switch to the flatbed for scanning or copying your carbonless pages.

• Printer model(s)

• Printer serial number
