Lexmark CS92x & CX92x ? Paper Jam Issue Caused by a Missing / Dislodged Tray Caster Wheel

Table of contents

Issue description

You may encounter a paper jam issue when printing from the high capacity input tray (HCIT) that is caused by a missing 3000-sheet tray caster wheel located in the front-left part of the assembly.

The uneven level or the incorrect height of the HCIT basically causes this issue. Anything which modifies the height/levelness of the HCIT can cause this type of paper jam. Other scenarios include the uneven installation of the brackets and damaged printer parts.

  • To clear paper jam from Door C, slide the 3000?sheet tray to the right (If installed), open the door and clear the paper jam.
  • Make sure that both the printer and HCIT is on a flat, sturdy, and stable surface.
