Troubleshooting a 423.95 / 452.25 finisher paper jam

Affected Products:

Single-Function: MS911, C9235, CS921, CS923 and CS927

Multifunction: MX910, MX911, MX912, XM9145, XM9155, XM9165, CX920, CX921, CX922, CX923, CX924, CX927, XC9225, XC9235, XC9245, XC9255 and XC9265

Issue Description:

The printer posts:

• Lexmark MX/MS91x - 423.95 paper jam error code when feeding paper to Bin 1 of the Standard or Booklet Finisher.
• Lexmark CX/CS92x - 451.25 paper jam error code when feeding paper to Bin 1 of the Standard or Booklet Finisher.

Solution:

1. Remove any stuck paper from the paper path.



2. Reseat the interface cable that connects the printer to the finisher.



3. Power off the printer and wait for ten seconds before you power it back on.
