What you will see

PDF error page when printing a PDF using the Cloud Connector application. Specifically, this error page has been seen in environments with a slow network connection or when attempting to cancel the job by pressing the home screen button.

Workarounds

  1. Investigate potential issues impacting network-throughput performance, try a different network connection, and retest.

  2. Give the printer additional time to stream and process the job.

Explanation

The additional complexity of a PDF's file structure, the condition of the network, and the size of the job can lead to a print timeout. If a print timeout occurs in the middle of streaming the file, an "invalid" file is received by the printer's firmware and a PDF-error printout is triggered.


NOTE:
Other formats such as JPEG and DOC types can immediately start printing even if the file streamed is not yet complete.
