Faded print in duplex scenarios

Issue description

A mult-page print job with an alternating combination of single-sided and duplex A5-sized paper results in absent or severely faded print.

Expected (Simplex - Letter)	Unexpected	Expected (Duplex long-edge A5)	Unexpected output by page 6 of the print job.

What else is known

• The primary symptom occurs several pages into the print job.
• Pausing or taking the printer offline allows for a brief continuation of printing.
• Bar codes appear to instigate the condition.

Solution

This issue has been addressed with a PE-build of firmware. Contact Lexmark Technical Support, reference this article ID # SO8578, and request firmware version PP.041.213a or greater.
