LPMA Configuration Tool Test Connection Fails with Error 1222

What you will see

The following error message displays when testing connection on the Lexmark Printer Management Agent (LPMA) configuration tool.

Cannot connect to the server. System returns error: The network is not present or not started. (Error 1222)

Suggested remedy

Go to the Control Panel – Network Connections and disable connections that are no longer in use. Click here to view sample image.
