What you will see
The intervention message “Output bin full” or “Remove paper from standard output bin” is displayed even though no paper is found in the output bin. The printer may no longer respond and the error may not clear even after restarting the device.
NOTE: In some cases, the error appears whenever the Backpack Finisher option is installed. The printer works without issue when the finisher is removed.
Recommended solution
This type of intervention message requires replacement of the output bin sensor. If the message does not clear even though the output bin is free of paper, please contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
