Lexmark XM3150
The printer posts error code 200.16 upon boot up.
An exhausted (end-of-life), locked, or damaged Imaging Unit can cause the printer main drive motor to stall and display the error.
Purchase and install a new imaging unit. Contact the Lexmark reseller or visit Lexmark.com and locate the printer model and the Imaging Unit for the printer model.
Make sure to power off the printer during installation.
If issue persists after replacing the kit, or you are unsure whether the kit has reached end-of- life, contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional troubleshooting options.
Determining Imaging Unit End of Life
Print a Menus Settings Page.
Print a Device Statistics Page.
If unable to print, the same settings pages can be found on your printer's embedded web server (EWS). To do this, perform the following steps:
Identify the printer's TCP/IP address, enter it into your browser's address field, for example, http://printer's_IP_address.
Look for Reports > Device Settings and Device Statistics.
Note: You must access to a computer on the same network as the printer.
Compare the stated life of the Imaging Unit to the total number of media pages printed.
