Interact for Lexmark App Version that Supports 8443 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Port

Overview

An "Authentication failed. Contact your system Administrator" error message appears on the printer’s display when the Interact for Lexmark app directly points to the node using 8443 SSL port.

Solution

Updating the Interact for Lexmark app version to 2-3.7.1.22 will fix the issue. You may download this new app version from this link, Interact_e3-4_s2-3.7.1.22BETA.fls

After installing the new app version, configure the app by pointing the ImageNow Service IP to the Load Balancer IP address

, input your ImageNow Services credentials

, then make sure to set the port to 8443

to submit/save the changes.
