Unable to Scan to FTP when server is using ports other than Port 21

Issue description

The printer fails to Scan to FTP when the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server is set up to listen to other ports (e.g., port 31 as in <Server IP address>:31). See sample failed log below:

Note:  The default FTP ports are TCP/20 for FTP data and TCP/21 for FTP commands.

Note:  An x denotes any number within a given printer model series.

Solution

Update the printer’s firmware with PE Release code .P359 or later.
