Overview
This document will guide you on how to disable or remove the E-mail shortcut showing on the printer’s control panel.
Procedure
Disabling the E-mail shortcut is done by going to the printer’s E-mail Settings from the embedded webserver (EWS). Follow these steps below:
Open the printer’s EWS by typing printer’s IP address on a browser.
Go to Settings > E-mail/FTP Settings > E-mail Settings > scroll down and look for “Allow Save as Shortcut”.
Uncheck the box for the “Allow Save as Shortcut” and make sure to click the Submit button to save the changes.
