What you will see
After successfully logging into the printer, you see a "No session available" message when attempting to use the Scan to E-mail.
This occurs when using a smartcard or when manually authenticating using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Properties in the title section of this article.
It is possible that your Function Access controls for Scan to E-mail are not configured for badge authorization.
To verify and correct this security setting:
Open the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) by entering your printer's TCP/IP address into your web browser's URL field; i.e., http://printer's_IP_address.
Navigate to Settings > Security > Security setup > Access controls > Function Access > E-mail Function.
From the drop-down menu of authorization options, select BadgeAuth (Smartcard) and then Submit.
