Location and Contact Name Do Not Display on Background and Idle Screen

If...And then...Then...

You enable Display Information for Background and Idle Screen app version 3.11.0 and below...

Set the Contact Name and Location on the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) > Settings > General Settings > Displayed information...

The Contact Name and Location information do not appear on the printer's Background and Idle screen.


NOTE:
Access the printer EWS by typing the printer IP address into the URL field of your browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari). For example, enter http://MFP_IP_Address, where MFP_IP_Address is the IP address of the printer.

Recommended action

Update the Background and Idle Screen app to PE release version 3.11.0.1 or higher.
