What you will see
You cannot import a CSV* file (e.g., fax shortcuts) with Swedish characters to Address Book. The Swedish letters (e.g.,
å,
ä,
ö) on the file, which have been exported from Address Book app, assume a different symbol during the import process and this results in an Incorrect Format error.

Explanation
By design, the Address Book app uses UTF-8encoding; however, the Swedish characters encounter interpretation problems and cannot be imported using this format.
Recommended solution
To resolve this issue, manually change the exported CSV format from UTF-8 to ISO-8859 encoding. Click here to view image.
