After updating firmware, you see unwanted rectangles surrounding certain icons.

Affected products

This issue was first seen on a CX510, however, printers that share similar firmware architecture may exhibit the same issue.

Explanation

Starting with LW50.##.P543, additional support for the new 508 kit — as part of section 508 amendment by the US government to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 — added these additional visual markers.
