Creating a profile

Users can create a profile as a guest or as a logged in user to the printer. It is recommended to log in to the printer before creating a profile.

  1. From the home screen, touch Cloud Connector.

  2. Select a cloud service provider.

  3. Touch Create a Profile.

  4. Type a unique profile name.

  5. If necessary, enter a PIN.

  6. Touch Create, and then take note of the authorization code.

  7. To authorize the profile, touch either E?mail This or Print This, and then follow the e?mailed or printed authorization instructions.

  8. To complete the authorization process, open the profile on the printer within 72 hours.

Authorize the profile using a web browser

  • Open a web browser, and then go to https:/?/?lexmark.cloud-connect.com
  • Click Next, and then agree to the Terms of Use.
  • Enter the authorization code, and then click Connect.
  • Log in to your cloud service provider account.
  • Grant permissions.

Authorize the profile using the QR code

  • Before you begin, make sure that your mobile device has a QR code reader application from either Google PlayTM store or App Store online store.
  • If necessary, touch Get QR Code.
  • Using your mobile device, scan the QR code on the printer display.
  • Open the QR code link using a web browser, and then click Next.
  • Agree to the Terms of Use, and then click Connect.
  • Log in to your cloud service provider account.
  • Grant permissions.

Deleting a profile

  1. From the home screen, touch Cloud Connector.

  2. Select a cloud service provider.

  3. Beside the profile to delete, touch Action Overflow icon > Delete.

Updating the application

The application checks for updates when you open it. If an update is available, then touch YES, and then wait for the printer to complete the update.


NOTES:

  • If you touch NO, then the printer returns to the home screen. You cannot use the application if an update is available and the application is not updated.
  • The application is unavailable when the update is ongoing.

Printing from a profile

  1. From the home screen, touch Cloud Connector.

  2. Select a cloud service provider, and then select a profile.

  3. Select a file.

  4. If necessary, change the print settings.

  5. Touch Print.

Scanning to a profile

  1. Load the document into the automatic document feeder or on the scanner glass.

  2. From the home screen, touch Cloud Connector.

  3. Select a cloud service provider, and then select a profile.

  4. If necessary, select a folder.

  5. Touch Scan.

  6. If necessary, change the scan settings.

  7. Touch Scan.

Additional information

Scan Settings from Email

Scan Default settings for scan are based on the Email settings. Other settings not exposed by the app during scanning will also be applied.

Print Settings from USB Print

Default settings for print is from the USB print settings. Only the exposed settings will be applicable.

SSL

Cannot send email when SSL is enabled.

No background Processing

Hitting home or cancel or back button while printing or scanning is ongoing will cancel the operation.

Able to access OneDrive account after access has been revoked.

This is FAD (on for the app side) as OneDrive allowed access to account using the accessToken provided by app. This should be fixed on OneDrive side. Once accesstoken expires app no longer able to access onedrive or refreshtoken.
