Printing in duplex results in inverted and rotated orientation

Affected Products:

Single-Function: CS720, CS725, C4150, CS820, and C6160

Multifunction: CX725, XC4150, XC4143, XC4153, CX820, CX825, CX860, C6160, XC6152, XC6153, XC8155, XC8160, and XC8163

Issue Description:

When printing...

And, Paper Type set to....

Results in...

An odd number of pages (3, 5, 7, 9) withDuplex turned on.

Solution:

Upgrading firmware fixes this issue. To do this:

  1. Identify your printer's level of firmware. Normally, this value is found under the Device Information section of any Menus Setting page.

  2. Follow the suggestions in the table below.

    the printer's firmware level isbelow

    ATL., PP.,CB., YK., 031.102

    Contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference article ID#:SO8266 to request firmware.031.102or later.

    Consider reviewing the latest official EC firmware.

    Note: Certain firmware fixes are not always available in official firmware versions of firmware. Read the release notes to verify that your issue has been addressed with the cited level firmware listed in the article.

  3. Update firmware.
