Smart Card Authentication Client ? Getting a Black Screen and Unable to Select or Press the Icons on the Printer Control Panel

Overview

Upon logging in to the printer using a user badge, you find the printer's display is black; however, the icons are available yet you are unable to press or select these icons on the printer control panel.

Solution

Updating the Smart Card Authentication client to version 2.1.6 will fix the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support to acquire this new client version.
