Issue Description:
Smudge or smear occurring on the side the page and the length may vary, typically between 0.5 – 2.0 inches vertically.
The defect is observed to repeat at imaging kit frequency (94 mm period), although some pages may not show it. See sample printouts below:
Solution:
Perform these steps below to fix the issue.
Load a new, dry, supported media. Then re-print to see whether this issue persists.
- If the Print Quality Issue has improved then issue is resolved.
- If the Print Quality Issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Ensure that the paper path is free from any contamination.
- If the Print Quality Issue has improved then issue is resolved.
