Delay or long pause occurs between Print Jobs when duplexing and stapling

What you will see

Should you utilize the stapling option while printing in duplex (i.e., printing both paper sides); you might notice a pause of about four seconds between each print job.

Recommended solution

This interval between print jobs does not imply that an issue exists with the device. However, if you wish to improve the printer’s performance, Lexmark recommends you to update the printer’s code to the latest version available in the Drivers & downloads site.
