Overview
When printing a document, whether internal pages on the printer or sending a job to the printer, a 900.02 firmware error appears on the printer every after the second page is printed.
NOTE: The error is usually seen on the printers with firmware version LW50.DN2.P543, and appears only when a Barcode card is installed on the printer.
Solution
Updating the FMBC firmware to the latest version posted on the Lexmark Support Site will rectify the issue. Should error persist, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.
NOTE: The Lexmark representative might ask for the printer's current firmware level. Please refer to Checking the latest Lexmark printer firmware for the steps. Once you obtain the file, you may proceed and update the firmware by following the steps from Updating the Lexmark printer firmware.
