Incorrect time shows when using the Card Authentication App

Issue description

Prior to logging in, the Card Authentication screen shows an incorrect time. After you log-in using your badge, the time appears correctly on the home screen.

(A) Before Log On, Time is incorrect(B) After Log On, Time appears correctly

Recommended solution

  1. Check the printer’s current firmware (FW). Checking the latest Lexmark printer firmware for steps on how to check the printer's current FW.


NOTE:
If the firmware is already updated, skip Step 2 and go directly to Step 3.

  1. Update the printer firmware (FW) to the specific PE release version:

  • Products announced on 2012 LW63.TU.P703
  • Products announced on 2010 –To obtain this version, contact Lexmark tech support for additional details.

  1. Should the issue persist, please escalate the call to Lexmark 3rd Level support for further diagnosis.
