Issue Description:

The printed document appears with some compressed or crooked text/images as shown in the following images:

  • (A)

    Compressed Text and Image

  • (B)Regular Text and Image
  • (A)Crooked Diagonal Line
  • (B)Straight Diagonal Line

Explanation:

Several printer system factors could potentially lead to this print quality defect.

However, it has been determined that the cause of this issue is when using Non-genuine Lexmark Supplies / Refilled Cartridges / ‘Compatible' or 3rd Party Supplies.

Non-genuine Lexmark Supplies / Refilled Cartridges / ‘Compatible’ or 3rd Party Supplies

Using these types of supplies can result in damage to printer components and in multiple failures, including degraded print quality within the system; For example the effects of using such non-Lexmark supplies are not limited to the imaging unit, printhead, fuser, transfer system, and paper feed reliability.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, make sure to use Genuine Lexmark Supplies.
