Device Quotas and/or E-mail to Self Apps Cannot Send E-mails

Overview

The Device Quotas or E-mail to Self app fails to send e-mails. This happens when both apps are installed on a printer.

Functioning as designed

By design, the native e-mail workflow can accommodate only one app.

When Device Quotas and E-mail to Self apps are both installed on a printer, then the app which is started first takes control over the printer’s native e-mail workflow. There is no way to specify which app gets started first.
