Overview
Before installing a new toner cartridge or should you be setting up a new printer, it is highly recommended that you shake the toner cartridge before installing it, especially if it is a 45k-yield cartridge.
Doing so will help distribute the toner inside that might have become stuck or caked during its shipping, and thus you can eliminate any possible print quality issue in the future or a 31.66 error code.
