Email address field doesn’t show all characters since firmware upgraded to LW80.GM4.P210.

Issue description

When typing in an email address in the recipient field, the characters are blanked out after the 15th to 16th character. If the email address is longer than 15 characters, the cursor keeps moving to the left but leaves blank spaces, and therefore difficult to verify if the correct email address was entered. Furthermore, no more characters are displayed after the 17th one. However, when you press Enter, the entire email address shows up. This issue manifests only after upgrading to FW LW80.GM4.P210.

Solution

1. Restart the printer.



2. Update the firmware to its latest version by following the steps in Updating the Lexmark printer firmware.

   Note:  Do not downgrade the firmware. Upgrade only to version LW80.GM4.P234 or higher.
