Lexmark CX510 ? Missing Wireless Settings in the Virtual Configuration Center (VCC) Configuration File Exported from the Printer

What you will see

When using a VCC bundle.zip file in configuring the printer wireless settings, the network compatibility entry or field in the printer’s EWS is missing. Refer to xref_HO3877_xref for the steps how VCC configuration file is exported.

NOTE:

This issue happens when NPA ID "WLAN_NETWORK_MODE" is missing.

Solution

Updating the printer firmware will fix the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support to acquire the latest firmware.


NOTE:
The Lexmark representative might ask for the printer's current firmware level. Please refer to this link xref_Check_xref for the steps. Once you obtain the file, you may proceed and update the firmware by following the steps from this link Badge Reader Does Not Work when Printer Is in Standby and Sleep Mode.
