Wireless Printer Will Not Boot Up When Using 802.1x Security

hat you will see

A wireless-connected (MarkNet N8352) printer fails to boot up when using 802.1x-Radius security. However, when a wired connection is used, the printer boots up without hesitation.

Affected products

This issue was first seen on a MX410, however, it is possible this issue may be seen on printers with similar firmware architecture.

Fix

Check your printer's latest EC firmware release notes to identify this fix. Otherwise, contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference this article ID#SO7841
