Scan to Network Folder issues when user does not have read access

Issue description

The Scan to Network (SNF) app stops working after updating to EC4.1 (P454) firmware.

Possible cause

SNF app fails to write the files when the user does not have Read Access on the parent directories.

Affected printers

This issue has been seen on the following Lexmark models, but other models not listed here could be affected:

  • CX410
  • CX510
  • MX410
  • MX51x
  • MX61x
  • MX6500
  • MX71x
  • MX81x
  • MX91x

Note:  An x denotes any number within a given printer model series.


Update the SNF app to PE release version or the latest.
