Printer Returns to Home Screen when SNF Destination Profiles Fail to Load Within 30 Seconds

What you will see

The printer’s display returns to the home screen when Scan to Network (SNF) app is selected and the destination profiles take more than 30 seconds to load. This happens when the destination list contains seventy or more profiles with extended names.


By design, the SNF app returns to the home screen when NO user activity occurs on the control panel for 30 seconds.

Recommended solution

To ensure profiles load faster, replace profile names with shorter strings instead of using extended names, which may contain up to 255 characters.
