Unable to Release Print Jobs with Special Characters

What you will see

You cannot release any print jobs containing special characters in the file name, web site address, or web content using the following apps:

  • Lexmark Print Management ( LPM) version 2.3.11 and below
  • Lexmark Document Distributor ( LDD) version and below

The LDD client service fails to start when the print job contains special characters.

Recommended solution

Update to the following versions:

  • LPM version 2.3.12 or higher
  • LDD version 4.8.01 or higher
