What you will see
The barcode information in the Extensible Markup Language (XML) file is missing when scanning only one page or side using the Scan to Network Premium (SNF) version4.5.14 or below. See sample output below.
Actual | Expected |
<barcodeInfo> </barcodeInfo> | <barcode name="LSlnr" encoding="UTF-8"><value>123456</value> </barcode> |
NOTE: The XML file will include the barcode information when two or more pages or sides are scanned (e.g., <barcodeInfo> <page><barcode name="LSlnr" encoding="UTF-8"><value>123456</value></barcode></page></barcodeInfo>).
Explanation
The issue may happen when the SNF app calls the barcode list before it completes the barcode processing.
Recommended solution
Update the SNF Premium app to PE release version 4.5.14.10. To obtain this version, please contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference this article ID. Support personnel can assist with the update procedure if necessary.
