Lexmark MS911 & MX91x ? Troubleshooting Power Related Issues

Overview

The printer may exhibit power-related issues with any of the following symptoms:

  • Will not power on
  • Printhead Errors
  • Fuser Errors
  • Low fuser temperature
  • Print Quality problems
  • 9xx Errors

Suggested remedy

Please consider the following suggestions when troubleshooting any of the symptoms stated above:

  • This printer must be placed on a dedicated 15 Amp circuit due to its power requirements.
  • Other printers or other equipment placed on the same circuit (wall outlet) may rob the machine of sufficient power in order to operate properly. If possible, consider relocating the printer or connecting it to another circuit.
  • Do not place this machine on a surge protector as this may lead to failures as well. Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet.
