Issue Description:
A printed page with high (100%) toner coverage shows white spots or blotches. See sample printout below.

Solution:
Touch the “Status/Supplies” icon in the printer’s Control Panel. Check the status of supplies and replace those that are low or empty. Proceed with the next step if all supplies are still in sufficient supply.
Perform printer calibration. To do this from the printer’s Control Panel, navigate through: Settings > Print > Quality > Advanced Imaging > Color Adjust.
Print the “Print quality samples” by navigating through: Settings > Report > Print Quality Pages.
Check the printouts, especially those with 100% toner (fill) coverage.
- If the blotches are gone, then recalibrating the printer was able to resolve the issue.

For remote fix opportunity, go through the steps in the Customer section if the Customer has not already done so.
Blotchy print is most noticeable on high toner coverage (100% coverage) samples after the unit has been run continuously for 6,000 to 8,000 pages at a low coverage.
It can happen to any color but is more common in Magenta and Black. Late-in-life supplies, continuous printing, and cold, dry environments are some factors that can contribute to this issue.
Service Action:
Ensure that the customer went through all of the customer-level checks before proceeding with service. Proceed with the suggestions below should the issue persist.
