Lexmark CS820 & CX82x: Print Quality Diagnosis ? Dots on Printed Page

Issue Description:

Dots of toner or white spots appear on the printed page. The defect can manifest in a random position or have a specific frequency. The sample printout below shows small dots of toners encircled in

Solution:

  1. Touch the “Status/Supplies” icon in the printer’s Control Panel. Check the status of supplies and replace those that are low or empty. Proceed with the next step if all supplies are still in sufficient amounts.

  2. Determine which color is having the issue by printing the “Print Quality Samples”. To do this from the Control Panel, navigate through: Settings > Report > Print Quality Pages.
