Complex page appears when scanning pages from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

Issue Description:

The printer posts a 39.01 Complex Page error message when scanning a document from the automatic document feeder (ADF).

Solution:

1. Power the printer Off for one minute and power it back On.



2. If the issue persists after powering the printer On and performing a scan using the ADF, make sure to update the printer firmware to the Latest Printer Firmware.

Explanation:

This issue is caused by theDisk Encryption that was turned on with FW7, which is starving other parts of the system resulting in the 39.01 Complex Page IR.

FW 070.050 or later has fixed this disk encryption issue.
