How to Add or Enable Card Copy Icon for PaperCut-Enabled Devices

Overview

This issue only happened on the devices listed below that had the PaperCut Application installed:

  • Lexmark CX860
  • Lexmark CX825
  • Lexmark CX820
  • Lexmark CX725
  • Lexmark CX827
  • Lexmark CX727

Resolution

By default, the Card Copy Application will be locked or disabled if a PaperCut Application is installed on these devices. The steps below will show how to add the Card Copy Application on these devices having the PaperCut Application installed.

1Admin needs to log in to the PaperCut server and access one of the devices on the list.
2After selecting the device, Admin needs to add the esf.cardCopy.cardCopyFAC and select 'Update'. Wait for the update to complete the installation.
