When sending faxes, there is a delay in dialing the fax number that causes the outgoing fax to fail.
Updating the printer firmware will fix the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support to acquire the firmware fix.
NOTE: The Lexmark representative might ask for the printer's current firmware level. Please refer to xref_Check_xref for the steps. Once you obtain the file, you may proceed and update the firmware by following the steps from Badge Reader Does Not Work when Printer Is in Standby and Sleep Mode.
