Enabling SMBv3 protocol:
2010 NOTE: Manually enabling SMBv3 is possible with EC6 release version LH60.xx.P647. Starting with this version, you can access the embedded web server (EWS), locate General Settings and check the Enable SMBv3.
Other versions, e.g., LHS60.xx.P615 orLHS60.xx.P646,will require SMBv3 enablement via individual app.
To do this:
Download the
UCF file
that contains the UCF keys to enable SMBv3 support for the following eSF Apps:
Scan to Network
Card Copy
Device Quotas
Downtime Reporting
Accuread Automate
Fax Forward
This UCF file must be imported from the main Import/Export webpage: Settings > Import/Export > Import Embedded Solutions Settings File.
2019 NOTE: The following non-esf models of the 2012 generation do not support SMBv3 and therefore do not support the steps for enabling it within this article:
