Troubleshooting 111.xx printhead errors

Issue description

The printer posts an 111.xx error (where ‘x’ can be any number).

Solution

To clear the error, power off the printer and wait for ten seconds before you power it back on.

  • If the printer does not reproduce the error, the issue is resolved.
  • If the issue repeatedly occurs after several attempts of restarting the printer, please contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
  • When a finishing option (e.g., Stapler) is installed and Sleep Mode is enabled, and then the printer encounters the 111.50 Service Printhead error: see xref_TE517_xref for troubleshooting instructions.
