Issue Description:
A 232.03 Paper Jam happens when the media, exiting the duplex, is late reaching the input sensor within the specified time set for it.
Possible root causes include jammed media in the duplex path, a bad duplex motor drive assembly, or a faulty duplex sensor.
Solution:
Check for third party (non-genuine) toner cartridges and toner leaking into the printer from either the third party toner cartridge or from the third party toner overfilling the waste toner area of the imaging unit. Paper Jam error codes can be caused by non-genuine toner cartridges, as the loose toner gets into the printer system. Paper Jams caused by the use of third party (non-genuine) toner cartridges are not covered under the Lexmark warranty and are billable.
Note: Third party (non-genuine) toner cartridges and third party (non-genuine) imaging units are not covered under the Lexmark warranty, and replacement supplies should not be sent. In addition, Genuine Lexmark imaging units damaged by third party toner are not covered under the Lexmark warranty and replacement imaging units should not be sent.
Check the duplex path for media jams and obstructions. Is the duplex path free from media jams and obstructions? If not, remove the media jams and obstructions.
