What you will see
A solid-vertical line prints down the entire left-hand side of the page.
NOTE: The distance from the edge of the page can be variable on a case-to-case basis.
Suggested fix
Ensure that the corona wire* cleaner is inserted fully as shown in the image below.
To do this:
Open the printer’s bottom-front door.
Look for the white flag or tab.
Pull the tab out slightly, and then push the tab back in until it stops.
Close door and test.

| Push the corona wire* cleaner in the direction pointed to by the red arrow and make sure that it is seated properly. |
* The corona wire is a component of the charger or charge roller assembly.

Explanation
The printer is not able to detect the incomplete insertion of this corona wire* cleaner, hence the front door can be closed without any apparent error and this print anamoly results.
