Host datastream coming from InfoPrintManager (IPM) causes the printer to show Busy before returning to the Ready state, and with no jobs printed. Causation appears to be linked to IP Pagedev Duplex.

• IPDS-equipped MS812de, MS91x with IPDS firmware level LW60 DN P632 IPDS 01049 den70gr

• IPDS-equipped MX711de, MX71x with IPDS firmware level LW60 TU P632 IPDS 01049

NOTE: Printers or MFPs with similar firmware architecture may exhibit this issue; the x denotes any number within a given product series.

Solution

A PE-released version of firmwareLW61_xx_P651 with IPDS:.1049 firmware may address the issue described above. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference this article ID#SO8008 to inquire about obtaining this firmware.
