What you will see
When using Label of Bond media, the toner flakes off the printed page or the page has areas where the toner does not seem to adhere to the paper.
Recommended solution
The toner may have a difficulty adhering to thicker paper such as Label or Bond media. In order to increase bonding or fusing temperature, change the Paper Texture and Paper Weight settings to "Rough/Heavy". To do this, follow the simple steps below.
NOTE: At this setting, the printer will run at HALF its rated speed.
- To set to Rough: Select Setting > Paper Menu > Paper Texture > Plain Texture > Rough.
- To set to Heavy: Select Setting > Paper Menu > Paper Weight > Plain Weight > Heavy.
