Suggestion and explanation

You can try using non-neon (soft pastel) highlighters, but your only other option is to consider upgrading your device. This is functioning as designed and it is due to differences in sensor and lamp technologies of various products. This output result is prevalent when using bright colors such as those found in fluorescent, neon, or day-glo highlighters.
