Defect Symptom 202.45 Paper Jam – The sheet was detected too long over exit sensor. Check for possible accordion jam, stuck exit sensor, or several overlapped sheets that were left in the paper path after a jam.
Customer Repair Action & Troubleshooting
Make sure that there is no paper in the Fuser – open Rear Door and look at back of Fuser; the Exit Sensor is in the center of the path. Remove paper if necessary. A torn sheet may be lodged in the Fuser, thus holding the sensor down.
The Fuser must be replaced if the torn sheet cannot be removed.
