Setting up password (PIN) to release held faxes

Issue description

You can set up a password or Personal Identification Number (PIN) code in a Lexmark MX310dn Multifunction Printer (MFP) in order to prevent any user to print the received faxes until the password is entered. This document will outline the steps on how to do this.

Note:  If you are unable to find the option to set up the security password while following the procedure below, it is possible that the printer is not yet running with the latest firmware code that contains this feature. In this case, please contact Lexmark Technical Support to obtain a copy of the latest firmware. Lexmark Technical Support Representatives will be more than willing to help you should you require assistance with the update procedure.
