Field to Enter Department Code Is Not Available when Copy Is Set as a Multi Send Destination

Overview

The field to enter the Device Quotas’ department code does not display on the control panel when Copy is specified as one of the destinations of the Multi Send app. The printer may either:

a. Complete the Multi Send workflow without prompting for the code; orb. Prompt you to provide a valid department code; however, the field where you can enter the code is not available.


NOTE:
The department code prompt works when using the Copy icon.

Functioning as designed

By design, Device Quotas integrates successfully with the base features only (i.e., copy, fax, e-mail). The department code prompt is not supported in Multi Send or any other Lexmark apps.

Suggested remedy

Should you need the department code prompt integrated with the Multi Send app, you will have to submit a Special Product Request (SPR) with your account representative.
