Unable to Fax Forward to E-mail Address on the MX and CX Series MFPs

Upon receiving a fax:

• The fax is almost always received and printed.
• The fax is not forwarded to the e-mail address specified by the e-mail shortcut.
• The T-30 fax log indicates E-000, which signifies fax received.

Affected products

This issue was first seen on an MX711de; however, CX seriesMFPs and printers with similar firmware architecture may observe this behavior.

Fix

Check your printer's latest to identify this fix. Otherwise, contact Lexmark Technical Support to request PE firmware LW50.XX.P571 or greater, or request that this firmware be made available for your printer.
