Fax-related messages appear on the Control Panel when using “0” as shortcut

Issue description

After selecting a profile with a 0 shortcut number (e.g., Scan to Network, Scan to Email, or Scan to FTP shortcut profile) or pressing #0 on the printer’s numeric keypad, any of the following messages may appear:

Affected printers

This has been seen on Lexmark MX310 and CX310 models.

Manual Fax Disabled

Manual Fax turned off in Fax Server Mode

Manual Fax options if it is enabled.

Solution

Use values 1-99999 when creating shortcuts.

By default, shortcut number 0 or #0 works as a manual fax shortcut number.
